Default Trainerdan, Protein Requirements

Just recieved your new book, tons of great information, I do have one quick question:
When figuring out daily protein requirements, should I use my current body weight 228lbs or desired bodyweight 190lbs? I do weight training 5 days per week, typically using 4 X 6-8 reps for larger body parts (chest, back, shoulders, and legs) and 3 X 8-10 reps for smaller body parts. At this point I am more interested in achieving my goal weight vs. adding mass. What would you recommend?

You will find a bunch of reccomendations on protein requirements around, but I condone using 1g - 1.5g of protein per lb. of current bodyweight.

This will ensure that you have enough protein so that you do not lose any of your precious muscle mass.

Thanks for your order! I am glad that you like the book.
