Fat club blasted

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2003580379,00.html

A study found those who ate at the clubs were not offered fruit or cereal and, on average, exceeded the adult maximum daily salt intake.

Margo Barker, a Sheffield University nutritionist who studied meals at three schools, said: “This is abysmal.”

Health officials admitted yesterday that many clubs did not make sure children ate healthy food.
