Default Finally in my 8 jeans!!!

Woo Hoo

I usually don't start threads, but I just had to tell everyone.

I got my size 8 jeans on

I am SOOOO happy, you have no idea, well maybe you do. My girls are dancing around with me singing, Go mommy, Go mommy.

I can't wait for my hubby to come home. When I started Atkins on Jan 28, I tried to put these same jeans on and could not get them past my thighs. I told him then, "I WANT" to fit into these again. And now 2 and 1/2 months later I'm wearing them.

I want to say THANKS TO ALL who post here, without this board I probably would not have stayed so determined to stick with it.

Of course I'm not done, I have more work to do, but this is a major goal for me. I was getting worried because the scale has not been moving, now I don't care. I'm going shopping tomorrow for some new size 8's.

Started 1/28 at 161 lbs (37-35-43)
Current 4/12 148lbs (36-30.5-40)

This is you: And this is me: Hurray!!!!! Hurray!!!!!

It's amazing how different women's bodies are! I could NEVER fit into a size 8 at 148. That would put me in a size 14. I have to get down to 130/135 before I can fit into an 8.

GO LISA GO LISA GO LISA GO LISA!!! hehe

I also have a pair of size 8s that I am determined to get into. You give me great hope since you are about the same height as me and we have the same weight goal. Hopefully that means that when I get to around 150 that I'll be able to fit into them - I can get them up to about my thighs right now, too.

Great job. But focus on how you feel and look, not just a number on the scale or on the clothing size.
It is so cool to go down into your old clothes!!!!

I was just thinking how the only size 8 I've ever been in was my SHOES! And that's really pushing a 9...

But I did realize the great feeling of zipping up the 10's after bubbling out of my 16's for so long!

YEAH LOW CARBING!!! Finally, something that works.

I'm so happy for you!!!

The last time I was in a size 8, I think I was in 7th grade :-)
I know I have to be 140 to fit into my TEN. It IS amazing how our bodies are so different.

I too have finally gotten into size 8's!! It is funny how size 8 in one brand will fit perfect, while the next brand size 8 I cant get buttoned!! I just bought some shorts overalls and they are size 7/9, I was so excited LOL. When I started 12's were tight, I was pushing 14's.

YAY!!! I remember when I started slipping into 8's! I still don't even believe it when I go to stores. I get 8s with doubts that they'll even fit.

And yes, our bodies are all different. Really makes you realize that the scale and these numbers underneath our names don't carry much "weight".
