Default Omg Tofu Is The Best!!!

I just heated up some extra firm tofu (cut into little slices) in the microwave with some Ragu cheddar cheese sauce. OMG macaroni and cheese!!! I SWEAR on my life it tastes like mac and cheese! Throw a lil hotdog or ground beef in there...MMM!! I have found my new favorite food. And my Publix is having a 2/$3 sale, anybody know how long you can store tofu?

I tried frying it tonight, not as good as with the cheese sauce. I froze a serving size to see if I like the texture (they say it gets firmer) and will eat it probably end of this week. I went back to the Publix that was having a 2/$3 sale and they arent having the sale anymore! AH! Hopefully theyll do it again? I hope I hope!!! Any other yummy tofu ideas?

It actually does taste good if marinated in Braggs liquid amino's or soy sauce and garlic.
Jsut a little bit of the marinade and fry in oil of choice. It is better than people think

I love tofo!!! I hate it plain though!!! You should try frying it then dipping it in peanut sauce (you can buy steels low carb peanut sauce-sooo good)
I also add it to pasta dishes... Tofo pretty much absorbs the flavor of whatever you cook it with.

Id go to the vegetarian part of this site, they have posted some good recipies there!

I like it marinated in soy sauce, ginger, chilli and garlic and then baked on a wire rack for an hour or so until it gets really chewy
