Question Anyone still hungry all the time?

My daughter complains of being hungry all the tiime, even after a meal. I do control portions because I do the serving before the food is put on the table but I don't skimp. For example, dinner might be a marinated chicken breast, broccoli (about 5 pieces) with cheese sauce, and a salad with dressing. I know that she is getting more than enough calories and there is plenty of fat daily between salad dressings and cheese. Help, please if you can because I am having a hard time keeping her within 35 grams(this is week #9) when she is already eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks. I know she doesn't drink enough, but we are trying. Anyone else deal with this at some point? Thanks.

There are days when I seem to feel hungry all day. But even with my snacking I usually stay under 30 grams carbs each day. Drinking a lot of water does help. Also some of the herb hot tea helps me not be hungry or some hot water and Boullion. I especially like the hot tea that tastes like the red hots candy. It is some kind of cinnamon. Sometimes I will have the pork rinds and some tea and that really fills me up. Of course we have those yummy salt and vinegar pork rinds.

First, there are days that I am starving and then there are days I am not.

The problem is probably that she is not eating enough. Portion control is OK if you eat enough. You should eat till you are full but not stuffed...and eat slowlly...chewing thoroughly. Too many of us scoff our food down.

I would suggest eating frequently (smaller meals 3 hours apart) than 3 full meals and maybe a snack. Each meal should include protein...2 oz or so...and some fat. Fat/Protein combo helps keep you satisified longer. As for veggies and salads...she must get those 3 cups plus in....I eat unlimited veggies...and I am doing well.

The water is important for many reasons...flushing out fat, toxins...helping with digestion..keeping you full...so skimping on water can make you feel as if you are hungry...when in fact you are not.
