Hey everyone

I have another question. Does anyone know of any ice cream made with splenda? I'm alergic to aspartame so i cant have the "sugar free " ice creams.

I do not know of a store bought ice cream made with splenda, but I just made a batch of my own homemade with splenda and it was delish!

I'll post the recipe under "sweet treats" within this forum.

Blue Bunny uses Splenda in their yogurt....but I don't know about their ice cream. It's a possibility.

What stores in IL sell Blue Bunny ice cream? Been looking for something at the Jewel, but zip is all I've found except for sugar free fudgecicles.

I have found it at Harmon's and IGA. If you live in or around Spfld, there is the new Harmon's store on Rt. 4 as you go toward Chatham from Spfld. The Harmon's store I go to is in Virden. Hope this helps.

Hey, I went on the search for you. If you go to www.bluebunny.com, go to the locator, type in your address and it will bring up the stores that are in and around your area. I typed in Chicago and it brought up several areas. Hope this helps!!! They have the Splenda line of ice cream and novelties on that site too, so if you see something that tickles your fancy and you find a store that carries Blue Bunny, ask the store manager if he can get in there. Tangy I did a search and the #1 store nearest me is the gas station I use, who would have thought? Guess not me
Now we'll have to see if they have any, I'm getting all excited and don't even know if it tastes good.

Oh I had to laugh!!! Isn't it just like that..... When we are looking for something it is usually right under our noses!! I had a bowl of the chocolate ice cream last nite. Yum!!! It isn't like premium ice cream, with all of the fat and sugar but I think it is really good. Let me know what you think of it when you get it!!!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, stopped at the store to check it out, and they did have BB ice cream, but just the reg nothing "we" can have

As a suggestion, ask and see if they can get the splenda blue bunny ice cream along with the regular. Some managers will do that. Wouldn't hurt to try!!!

It's me again!!! I was also thinking that if you were so inclined to, go and ask your local grocer to see if he can get it also. Sometimes when I am wanting a particular item that the store doesn't carry, I'll go and ask the manager and he will check his book of things they can get and if they can get it, he orders it for me. One time I was wanting bread flour. The store didn't carry it so I asked the manager if he could get it and lo and behold, not only did he get it, it is now a regular item on their shelves. So it might be worth looking into. As the old saying goes, it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease!! Tangy
