Default Dr Phil's wife sort of Atkins-izing?

I think her name is Robin. . .happen to tune in yesterday and she was asked how she looks so good stays in shape . . .blah, blah, blah. ..and she said "Well one day I was talking to a pharmacist and he mentioned that I was holding poison in my hand, they were Hot Tamales, he said sugar is poison to the body. I gave up sugar 5 yrs ago and I also don't eat glutton or wheat. And I drink a lot of water." At this point I am yelling at the TV. . ."HEY YOU ARE DOING ATKINS!" My kids just shake their heads sadly. redawn

She's not necessarily working ANA, but I think she is probably doing a low-carb program. Good for her! She does look great.

Dr Phil's food plan limits things like sugar, refined flour and such, but isn't "Atkins" either.

Even Oprah says she had to cut out the "white stuff" as well. I guess you don't have to be on a low-carb plan per se to reap the health benefits of cutting out the garbage!
