Does anyone know the shipping laws TO California? I think it varies from state to state, but not sure. This kind lady on the forum from KS (KS=Kansas i think) said she would be willing to ship me some "Thin Ice", the new low carb alcoholic drink. What are the laws on shipping alcohol?

You are allowed to buy alcohol across state lines from California. Check out www.wine.com for details. Even if your state isn't listed, as long as it's a personal shipment, ie not from a business, it really shouldn't matter and the feds won't care, they have better things to do.

Ok, thanks Alex, but..........thats CA law right? What about the law in another state as far as shipping OUT of there state?

Actually, the shipping list is based on the receiving state's laws. California allows alcohol shipments to private individuals, so you should be okay.

PS. I don't think sending will be a problem, its basically a tax law, and if the product is being shipped from the state which it is purchased, then the state has already collected their tax
