Default critique, please

I have just been on this a week and need some guidance about whether I am doing it properly.
On Sat I ate:
2 eggs w/cheese
Arby's sandwich - the turkey, bacon and cheese - no bread
1 oz macadamia nuts
roast pork and cheese.
On Sun I ate:
2 eggs w/cheese
3 oz tuna w/avocado
1 oz macadamia nuts
1 cup salad greens w/ham and velveeta cheese

I kind of think this is too little, but I just am not hungry.

Two words: more vegetables. I aim for at least one serving at lunch, and I cook two different kinds for dinner. I try to keep at least four different kinds in the fridge. I only cook for the boyfriend and I, but I keep freezer bags around for veggies that I don't want to waste.

I think you might be a little low on the calories, but you can check by keeping track of your food on http://www.fitday.com .

Other than that, you're on the right track!

>>"I just am not hungry."

Isn't that kinda nice?

Thank you for the reply. I will work on getting more veggies. I tried a good dessert - I took cream cheese, cocoa powder, a wee bit of fake sugar, and peanut butter and mixed them all up real good. Tasty!

One more thing. Nuts are not allowed on induction. Once you are past induction, you can add the nuts back in. I agree about the more veggies part. You should be having at least 2 cups of salad greens and 1 cup of cooked veggie from the allowed list or 3 cups of salad greens daily. This is just a guideline; most of your 20 grams of carb on induction should be coming from veggies. You should also save the desserts and treats for once you are past induction also. Induction is the period where you are trying to break your carb and sugar addiction and it's very hard to do when you are still eating things that taste sweet even if they don't have sugar in them. Keep at it!

Thank you, Lisa. I will adjust my intake accordingly. I'm not having any trouble with cravings for carbs or sugar. Guess I'm just lucky.
