Traditional Spanish food (Paleo eating)
I wanted to share some traditional Catalan (Spanish) dishes that are a part of our daily lives here. Paleo eating is very easy here if you stick to traditional cooking. Hope you like looking at the pictures!
This is "All i Oli" or garlic and olive oil sauce.
Cod.
A traditional Catalan table.
Roast Piglet.
Fish called "Dorada".
Typical roast veggies.
Locally made pork products.
Pig's Cheeks with mountain snails.
Spanish cured ham.
Typical table setting.
Pig's Trotters.
A selection of pork products.
Rabbit with Mushrooms.
Squid.
Duck with Pears.
As you can see, most of the products here are Pork, which is very popular. Most of these dishes are from Catalonia, which is the North East of Spain, but every region has its own foods, so this is just a tiny selection that I wanted to show you. I'd love to see dishes from other countries, so please post yours!
