Hi,
What do you do when you have those last 5 to lose? I am stuck here. Do I go back on Induction to "kick it up", or what?'
Thanks!

Move that body!

I don't mean any fancy stuff - just walking is great. I walk a lot but every time I walk more - I lose weight or inches......

Those last 5 will go, just hang in there........

Good luck

Alina

Relax a little and be proud of your accomplishment. Those last few will go.... and you will feel so great.

Exercise can't hurt and it is a lot more fun than induction.

I've had "5 to go" since Christmas. The good news is that I've maintained this weight for a month and a half, now. I know that once I get there, I'll know how to keep it there. I'm going to be starting with a personal trainer soon... I'm sure the last 5 will take care of themselves after that.

Go to a Wallmart, find the cheap scales, weigh yourself on each one, buy the one that reads the lightest weight.

Problem solved!

I've lost a pound a month the last three months. But I love eating this way, I love the way I look, so while I wouldn't mind losing more, I'm not stressing over it.
It's gonna be slow. I don't see ANY posts that say stuff like, "Man, that last 10 went like lightning!"

I just saw another post about the 5olb set point...What happens when you have only 16 lbs to your first goal? I really could lose another 10 after that but since I am older I set the amount higher...(older than I was when I was 26lbs lighter I mean) I really am not sure what my weight should or can be. I am 5ft fine boned and almost 40...I used to weigh 105 but 110 was my average weight...I have set my goal at 120. What do you think???

By the way it is slow going! I am up two down two often! I am doing induction again.

Remember too Atkins says the longer you take to lose those last 5-10 pounds the better chance they have of staying off. Instead of induciton to kick it up a bit, why not ttry a new and different exercise rutine to kick it up?

First off - CONGRATULATIONS!! I personally wouldn't worry about that last 5 pounds. I know you have your heart set on it, but just keep doing what you are doing, and it will come off. Just be sure the scale doesn't go the other way. Congratulations again! Awesome job.

The way I see it, like it or not (sniff) is that it took me 5 years to put this on and it will take a lil time to take it off.

the last 5lbs have been at about a lb a month. that
is ok by me. you have learn to live the rest of your
life maintaining this weight and should be heading
that way. If I ever do gain though, I will probably
head back towards induction, but for now, I am
at happy slow place. I would like a personal trainer
so that I could tone up now.
