Unhappy Headaches

Greetings, Guy

I'd smile but my head is killing me. I have had headaches since Thursday. I'm generally not allergic to anything, I saturated myself with water yesterday and I've been even faithful to lo-carb.

My headache is going nowhere. Advil hasn't helped and no, I'm not on sugar alcohols to any large extent

Any Ideas ?

Slim Cat

if headaches are unlikely for you, and you've been experiencing pain for several days... i'd recommend that you call your doc! just in case.

Hi there......

I'm assuming that you are on Atkins induction. My experience with induction included horrible headaches for a few days and I'm not a person who gets headaches either. I suspect that it was the process of withdrawal from all of those nasty carbs that caused the headaches. Since I'm also not a pill taker, I just suffered thru them and after a few days the headaches stopped. Obviously, if they don't stop for you, a visit to the doctor would be a good idea.

Don't forget the weather is changing - I have had a headache (dull) for about a week and today allergies have set in big time. Might just be that.

Guys,

I still drink PepsiOne at lunch...yes, I'm an addict..so it's not the caffeine. I'm in my first week after induction but to tell you the thruth, my carb consumption is quite low.

I've had a lot of headaches too. Wondering if it's related to TOM... but it just seems to be hanging out SO LONG.

If you find anything that helps -- please let me know.

I found that when I forget to take my supplements for a few days, my head gets all fuzzy and almost like a sinus headache. A day or two with my supplements and it is gone.

Good Luck!
