For my entire life, I have been one of those people who throw off massive amounts of heat. My wife loves it because she says I'm fun to lay next to in bed. However, it's no fun to be the sweatiest person in the room. I sweat in November and December. When I was on a high carb diet, obviously that could add to it because carbs burn hot in the body (high carb fans make a big deal about this because they say calories are lost in the process, but we know better). Now that I'm on Atkins, it seems like I'm less hot. Has anyone else experienced this?

Well, you are thinner... could be that you have less "insulation"!

I actually feel warmer on a LC WOE. My hands are usually cold when I eat high carb, but now I'm hot at night, throwing off the covers, even with the A/C!

I used to throw off tons of heat when I was a lean 168lbs too.
