Default stacy41230 I checked out your fitday journal

it all looks good, just wondering if you can get some more veggies into your daily total, like spinach, broccoli or asparagus? those veggies have many more nutrients than lettuce.

Thanks for checking out my journal, I need all the help I can get, lol. My problem with the veggies is that I dont like them. Lettuce, radishes, carrots and potatoes are all I like. I have tried the broccoli and still havent acquired a taste for it. Thats why I only have lettuce and radishes in my salads. My fitday journal isnt quiet right for today because I made meatloaf and didnt know how to put in all the ingredients for it so I just estimated the totals. It was the first time I had experimented with this WOE. It was delicious.

Once again thanks for your advice.

Lightbulb You're in luck, Stacy

Regarding the meatloaf and Fitday...

LadyBelle passed this on to me the other day:

http://www.nat.uiuc.edu/mainnat.html

It's essentially a dumbed down version of Fitday, but you can use it to enter all your recipe ingredients, and calculate the nutritional totals -- all the fats, carbs, protein, vitamens and minerals. Then you just make a custom food entry in Fitday, enter the numbers, provide the serving size, and no more guessing.

I haven't done it yet, but plan to soon with some of the great recipes I've seen posted here.

Thanks for the link, I will try it right now as I am curious to the real total, I know it wasnt much because the meat was 0 carbs.

what kind of lettuce are you having? Do you like Romaine and those other fancy lettuces? They will have more fiber than Iceberg.
