Question salad dressing ?

The dressing that I bought, Ken's Creamy Caesar is listed at 0 carbs and 0 grams of sugar, but at the very bottom of the ingrediant list, there is molasses, corn syrup, carmel and sugar. How can this be???? and should I use it?

Nutritional Info on the dressing:
2 tbs.
170 calories
19 g fat
0 carbs
0 sugars
1 g protein

Ingrediants:
Veg. Oil, Water, Egg Yolk, Parmesean Cheese, Garlic, Lemon Juice,Salt, Olive Oil, Vinegar, Spice, Natural Flavor, Onion, Xanthan Gum, Propylene Glycol Alginate, Molasses, Corn Syrup, Carmel, Sugar, Anchovy, Tamarind

I wouldn't use it, bring it back if you can. I don't use prepared mayo for the same reason, it SAYS no carb, but sugar's in the ingredients. Better safe than sorry...

I use that dressing sometimes. You can find caesar dressing without sugar. I think Girards is the best and I don't think it has any sugar.

As for the carbs not being listed... Well there are not many carbs, because there isn't much sugar in there. They always list ingredients in order of quantity in the bottle. If sugar was in the top 3 or even 5 I would be a lot more concerned.

Don't forget if there are less than 1gr of carbs per serving the company can list that as 0.

Use the new Kraft Carb Well dressings 0 carbs and very good

because there is so little of the sugar in it, that its less than one gram per serving.

In the US it can have up to 0.9g carbs and be listed as 0 instead of 1.

Just count it as a gram and you should be fine.

Definately try the Kraft Carbwell dressing. The italian is great! I didn't even like salad dressing before I tried it. I need to find one made with olive oil though, since soybean oil technically isn't allowed on my plan.
