Default Did you know...?

In Chinese medicine over weight people are usually cold and damp? Ginger, cinnamon, peppers, spicy stuff all help combat that.

There are exercises that may help to stimulate certain meridians that encourage your body to be healthy and lose weight? It is Chi Gong(I know the spelling isn't correct) and very mild.

I'll let you know what they are like - I am getting the book from the library today I hope. It is a book by Nan Lu called "A Natural Guide to Weight Loss That Lasts." He/she? has one on menopause and maybe more. We'll see. I always think that there is alot of info out there and that some combination of exercise, thought process, diet and I don't know what else, is the answer to success.

I was never cold, but one of my alternative therapists said I was definitely damp! He said to combat the damp I must cut out flour and some dairy... Seems he was on the right track!
