I know I haven't been here for a few days but you aren't getting rid of me that easily..LOL

Had my surgery on Friday. It was a success from as far as what I can tell. Quite a bit of bruising and pain but I"m sure it will be woth it in the end. Will be anxious to get back to my walking. Taking antibiotics and pain killers right now and sometimes I feel like I"m starving to death. The pain killers contain condeine and I know that can trigger hunger in me.. ahhh well must fight the temptation. Glad to be back with my low carb family again...

Welcome back Joanne. I didn't realise you had a surgery to go through. Glad it went o.k. and wish you the best of health.

While you were gone, YOUR idea for weight-ins and progress have snow-balled into creating the "My Journal / Bootcamp" forum. Hope you like it!

Welcome back Joanne!

There is a homeopathic remedy called arnica that is great for bruising and healing. I take it before and after I go to the dentist. Another one, calendula, is good for cuts or in instances where the skin is broken.

Hi Jo,

Welcome back also from me. Had no idea you were gone for surgery. Take care, and rest.

hey joanne,

Gosh, hope yer up and hob-nobbing soon! Hmmm... I scoured back through the posts, didn't see a word about surgery .. hope it wasn't anything sudden and serious .. Anyway, do take care, and remember to take your fiber and drink that water! I have to take codeine as well, and sometimes feel as if I should also swallow a stick or two of dynamite with it, to get things "moving along" ...
