Smile So far, so good

So far I am really liking Atkins. Sure, there have been a few tough spots this week, but overall I can't believe I can eat this much and lose weight. I find it hard do get enough fat, but I think I am doing ok.

Two things that were hard were buying some goodies for the kids easter baskets and standing in line at Blockbuster Video. The shelves where you stand in line are solid carbs! Candy, popcorn, chips. That was tough. But I made it, came home, had dinner and I am good

I'm glad you're enjoying this WOE! Don't worry about seeing things you can't eat, it will get easier. Just today I was at a meeting and there were chocolate eggs on the table. I wasn't even tempted! That wouldn't have been the case before starting Atkins. I would have probably had at least 10 of them!

As far as enough fat goes, try adding cream to your eggs and cooking them in butter. Sometimes my DH will make up some herb butter to put on veggies and steak. Other times we'll put blue cheese on our steak.
