Default Portion Control

Hi All!
I am beginning a personal challenge of portion control. I am a HUGE eater. I started Atkins in hopes of helping me with this but I continue to eat enormous amounts of food even when I am not hungry or even when I am very full! For some reason I am slim but that is not my issue. I am concerned with this behavior. It has to stop! Eating is relaxing and is used as an excuse to "escape" from what ever I need to escape from at that time. So if you would like to include this with a challenge you may already be doing I would love the company!
Good luck to all!
Today:Pre workout mix
Ran - 7.5 miles weight trained 30 minutes
Breakfast: .25 cup cottage cheese, .25 broccoli
Doesn't sound like much but after yesterdays indulgence there is simply "no room at the inn!"
Not sure what the rest of the day will include but off to a good start!
