Default Hello, my name is Echo....

....and I'm a carb addict. Oh, this isn't CA? Well, anyway.

This is the start of week 9 for me. So far have lost 30#s. I did have 4 weeks in the middle with no weight loss, but now it has started coming off again. Figured out that I had a yeast problem.

This has to be the most wonderful thing I've ever done. Never b4 have I been able to even stay on a diet for more than a few days at a time. You know, you're on a diet for a year, but out of that year you have maybe 1-2 days/week of no cheating. Usually the 2 days before you weigh in, right? So, after I got thru the first day w/o cheating I thot maybe I would be able to get thru the 2nd day. Yup!!!! Now I've been thru 8 weeks with not a bite of anything that I shouldn't. Miracle!!! I have no cravings at all. My husband is bringing all kinds of junk home and there is no temptation. Sometimes my appetite is so dead that I'm practically sick b4 I eat. I've never, ever not had an appetite. I am hungry but the thot of food turns my stomach. Who could have ever thot that about me.

I just found this website last week. Sure wish I had known about it when I was at a stand still. Even tho I was not losing I had no thot of quiting. That was just not an option. I knew that if I quit I would be over 300#s in a minute. I just couldn't face that.

Anyway I have about 115# more to go.

THERE'S NO STOPPING ME NOW!!!!!!

Echo

Welcome Echo,

Folks here are on all sorts of LC eating plans.

Relieved to hear that someone else doesn't have an appetite.

Some days I feel sick when I eat, like queasy in the tummy.

Sure hope this holds out as it is something I have never experienced.

Morning, Echo -

Welcome! You'll find lots of good advice and moral support here.

Every day I'm amazed that I'm not hungry all the time. Can't say I don't have cravings; in the past I would act on them. Now I can swat them away like an annoying gnat. My first week on program I felt nauseated and bloated alllll the time. I'm not exactly a veteran -- this is only my 2nd week, but for the most part, the need to hurl is gone.

Good luck to you!

Robin

Hi Echo!

Welcome!

I have the same feelings. Sick to my stomach. Some nights I can barely stand to eat dinner. On those nights I usually don't eat. Some mornings the thought of eggs just does me in. However, I really do try to eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day.

Thirty pounds is great. What an achivement!

Karen
