Default Lemon Juice

Just a doubt I have,

I have read in Atkiins page and other many places that lemon juice has 1-3 carbs a glass. However, when I enter lemonade- lemon juice in fit day, they indicate that it is 7-9 carbs. How can it be possible?. Atkins book strongly recommends to drink lemon juice if we have cravings from juices.

Your wise responses will be greatly appreciated.

2 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice have

Total Carbohydrate 2.63g
Dietary Fiber 0.122g

I dont think you need more than 2 Tbsp to make a glass of lemonade.
Splenda has carbs too dont forget.

I suppose it just depends on how much you make.

Lemonade has sugar. I drink lemon water for which I only count the amount of carbs in the lemon...about 1 per half a tiny lemon. Just adds a kick to the water. PLus it helps clean you out. Try just adding lemon juice instead of listing Lemonade on Fitday..that shold give you a more accurate count.
