Default Hello

My name is Christine, I'm new to the support group and hope I will find new friends that can give me some guidance and motivation to stick to this diet. I've been on Atkins through the induction phase and have not seen any results yet.

Hi Christine,

Welcome to the forum.

How about starting a journal here? That way, you can post your meals and we can possibly help with reasons why you haven't yet lost anything. I'd be very happy to look in on you there.

Have a good look around the site here, especially the "stickies" at the top of the Newbies' Questions forum.

Cheers, Christine.

Rosebud

Thanks Rosebud,
I've never spoke with anyone from Australia before! How cool!
Yes, a journal is a good idea, I will start one and hopefully that will provide some answers.
Cheers to you!
Christine

The first time I did atkins I didn't loose either. But this time I am down 5.5 lbs...don't fret...the weight will come off. Sometimes it is slower for some of us. Be patient. Don't look at this as just a quick fix...think of it as a life style change. Sooner or later the weight will come off!

Here you will find a plethora of information. And many supportive people to help you on your journey. Welcome Christine

Good for you Anita!
People keep telling me to hang in there, so I'm gonna do it. One thing I'm very excited about is that I don't have the carb cravings I did before, I would eat all day and realize that I hadn't eaten any protein. This has been a big change for me. I used to be hungry all the time too and my appetite is much more suppressed. So I think it's working, it's just not showing on the scale yet. Take care, and good luck.

Christine
