Question help with induction!

Okay apparently I didn't read enough or I got the wrong picture. My assumptions of Induction was that staying under 20 grams/day is the key. Staying away from "craving" type foods or "fake" sugar that might give me cravings.

I'm told to cut back on cheese, eat more vegtables in my journal. I 100% trust people here but their advice doesn't seem to follow the induction plan.

I'm staying under 20g varying my foods and enjoying carb free foods that I like along with 1.5 hours of hard core swimming 3-4 days/week.

Please help.

PS here is my journal.

You've been given excellent advice in your journal. Induction is not just a matter of staying under 20 carbs. If you eat foods other than those "prescribed" for Induction, you can still experience rises in insulin, which causes weight gain.

The best Atkins book to read is the latest edition of Dr Atkins' New Diet Revolution. It doesn't only spell out what exactly you can and can't eat on Induction, it gives a lot of other info besides. I strongly recommend you read it.

Thanks. I'll go pick up the book tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime I'll stick to the Induction foods listed on the atkins website. Thanks again for all your help. If you don't mind I may post a followup with my new diet in hope that I'll have better "approval" here. =-)....
