Total Fibre vs Soluble Fibre
Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can help me with this question please !
In the UK our carb count includes fibre. However, in order to put information into Fitday, I want to include the fibre content of what I eat. I have a UK book which gives me carb (g) and then two columns, 'total fibre (g)' and 'soluble fibre (g)'. What is the difference and which one should I be adding to the carbs (g) to make in the equivalent of the US carb count for Fitday?
I hope this is clear. I've been adding 'total fibre' to carbs, so if it's the other one, then my daily fibre count is going to be lower!!!
Thanks in advance
