Default Weary, Sluggish, dead-brained!

I have done Induction 4 times, this being my fourth. I had a positive experience the first time, a bad the second, another positive the third time, and now this time I am haveing different sensations. I am very sluggish to the point where I feel weak. I am eating plenty of food and drinking water. Normally, by now, I am just bouncing with energy. Now I'm dragging. But mostly, my concentration is just out the door. I can't focus on anything. I'm not having any other problems, just this, which I have never had on Atkins. I'm not taking a multi-Vitamin because I can't stomach them and I never, ever have. I was drinking Atkin's shakes once a day but I have not partaken of these because of the stall factor on some people. I also tend to rely on them instead of making breakfast or lunch.

Any suggestions? Has anyone experienced this before? And if so, can anyone recommend a multi-vitamin that is gentle on the stomach and maybe has no iron in it??

We all have dealt with malaise in one form or another on lc. Since you can't take supplements why not try eating avocadoes. There are lots of nutrients, including potassium, that can help you to get back your energy. The more you make this a part of your lifestyle, the more energy you will have. I also recommend that you eat a big variety of the healthiest veggies like bell peppers and collard greens.

Also, how about cutting a vitamin in half. Take one half in the AM and the other half at night. I prefer taking vitamins at night.

Try eating more often. I find that it helps me.

Kim532, It took me about 2 years really to get down to 136. I am fast approaching 50 so slow weightloss didn't hinder me from my focus. I was so excited to lose 10 lbs at such a fast rate. After going on to OWL, my weight did slow down but I didn't care. I have entered the world of pre-menopause and am having a harder time at keeping my weight down but clothing size is staying consistant. I am still in a size 8 pants and a size 10 in tops. I like low carbing. I love the food and how it makes me look and feel. I have been told that out of the group of women with whom I work, I look the youngest. This is great because, for the most part, I am the oldest. I am running in a 5k marathon this fall. I want to increase my water and decrease my coffee. Eventhough I am not on induction, I try to keep my carbs very low. That is the major change I am making this year. I might go running this afternoon. I'll keep you posted.
