If you look at the cough drops, look for sugar free and then check the label. Also look for diabetic stuff.

I use the Nice brand, they have several different flavors and they really help with a sore throat or cough. Also halls has come out with one, I think cherry and menthol.

There could be others, but I find these at a drugstore or walmart very easily.

There are lots of sugar-free Cough/Throat Drops on the market. Most contain large amounts of sugar alcohols, and most contain aspartame.

A cough drop is really just a hard candy + menthol.

I like Halls Sugar Free as they contain isomalt and do not contain Sorbitol, which I react strongly to.

I am very, very fond of Ricola SF Lemon-Mint cough drops. Found them at Wal-Mart.

Beware of the sugar-free NICE brand if you react to sugar alcohols. I had a bad sore throat which morphed into a very bad stomach.
