Excercise Routines and Plateaus
I know that you have to vary your work out routine to keep your body consistently challenged in order to avoid plateaus.
Here is my situation: At the gym, my usual routine starts with 10 minutes on the eliptical trainer, 10-15 minutes moderate level on the bike, 20 minutes on the treadmill walking at 4.2 mph and sometimes 10 minutes of running (if I don't run the 10 minutes, I continue walking for a total of 30 minutes on the treadmill).
I've been on this routine the last two weeks. Even with the varying activities, does this routine run the risk of hitting a plateau as well? Or does it just have to be in regards to one activity, for example if I only did the bicycle each time I came in?
Thanks!
