Today one of my coworkers pulled me aside to tell me that she thought I was looking fantastic and wanted to know what I've been doing. She's the first person who didn't know I was doing Atkins to notice the change in me. I've been really frustrated with a scale that won't budge so it was nice to hear. I've stepped up the exercise and the inches are coming off - but not the weight.

Teardrop---Just wanted to say congrats on a job well done! I'm sure hearing it from a co-worker just MADE YOUR DAY!!!!

Strange as it is, it seems that it takes a loss of about 30# before people really start noticing!! In my experience on this board, that's pretty consistent. Well, you can expect a lot more people to start noticing from here on out....and will start with the questions!! My favorite part in answering those questions is to mention that my blood lipid profile is picture perfect now!!

I'd be happy to put the teardrop back up. I didn't know if anyone actually knew what it was. The picture I had been using has a Christmas wreath on it. I'll have to find another one. Now if we could just put that teardrop behind your Ford we'd have a nice pair.

Compliments are great aren't they? Sometimes I think they are the best motivation Right after my son was born I lost 30 lbs right away, and coming back and having everyone compliment me, felt awesome (unfortunately i gained every dang pound back! ) but now working hard on getting rid of it My motivation is seeing my hubby's eyebrow raise when I check out all the new clothes that I can fit into now that I never dreamed of wearing before. It's nice being that cute girl on his arm when we go out!!!
