Cool Am back at it and determined this time

Hi all,
Yep, I'm back yet another time. I left off in September when my parents were coming to visit with straregies on how I was going to stay low carbing this time during their visit - well, it didn't work! That's completely my fault. I had a lot of stress overall this past month (and got sick because of it) but now my parents are gone and things are calmer so I'm back on track.

I was doing modified Atkins but decided I'd go back to South Beach Diet. There are things in SBD that seemed to work well for me, better than with Atkins, and honestly, right now I just need to see some weight loss to keep my motivation up. I gained 10 of the 12 pounds I lost while I was on SBD back in July. But I still consider myself low-carbing (I didn't find myself craving any of the more carby foods that SBD allows in the second phase - the most carby food I ate was occasionally kidney or garbanzo beans). I plan to stay mostly low-carbing it but I think that the low-fat dairy really works for me since I love it so much and eat more than I should.

Anyway, hope there are other SBDers out there and that I'll still find the great support I've been finding with this board for over a year now.

Tam
