Exclamation Loss on a LC plan~

The most that I lost in a month's time, was 26 lb. in 4 weeks, when I was younger, and was doing the Stillman Quick Weight Loss (QWL) diet... All I ate was meats,cheese-low fat, and 4% creamed cottage cheese, eggs and water,LOTSA LOTSA water!! I also drank diet soda a few times a day..everyday... but this was in the days before nutrasweet! I would never do that today! That's my greatest success with LC'ing...altho this attempt was not far behind... I lost 20 lb. from Sept 20th to Oct. 20th, and 34.50 inches! A WORD TO NOTE HERE: BRAIKI YOU CANNOT BASE YOUR WEIGHTLOSS ON THE SAME AS SOMEONE ELSE'S! THERE ARE MANY MANY FACTORS TO CONSIDER HERE~!

Default Good Question

Let me consult my graph.

Let's see it says that from 3/27 to 4/26 of 00 (when I first started Atkins) I lost 14 and 3/4 pounds. But I wasn't on low carb the whole time. I was off the diet for about 5 days (at least) during that month.

from 6/5 00 to 7/20/00 I went from 262 to 245 and a quarter. Admittedly that was over a month, but I had some times on and off the diet mixed in there. From 6/5 to 6/24 I lost to 250.5 a total of 11.5 pounds, if you count the off and ons and take it to the 20th of July, it would have been 17 something pounds.

From 10/11 to 11/10, I lost 9 pounds.

Between 11/21 and 2/21 I lost 10.5 pounds. ( I don't have perfect records here).

Now do you want to know how fast you can gain it back? no you don't. nevermind.

Remember that people who weigh more often lose more and faster at first and men tend to lose more faster.

LBDropper... I weighed twice in a month's time... a week after I started, then not until a month from I started... I lost 20 lb., so you say I would have lost more if I had weighed myself more often? There are some ppl who have problems with the scale...

Default I don't think

That is what she meant Suze. I think what she said is that "people who weigh more, often lose more weight". She left out the comma, so of course your misunderstanding is pretty much understandable.

She's right too. The more you weigh, the quicker it comes off at the beginning. In my first two weeks on Atkins I lost 13.5 pounds. I also lost 4 during the first two weeks before I started Atkins for a total of 17.5 within about a month.

Sorry I worded that wrong. Wish that was the case I'd just stand on the scale all day. I meant that a good amount of the time people who are more overweight tend to lose weight faster.

Hi Suze-c,

Yes it does feel great .. unlike anything I've ever experienced. For once the scale is my friend and I have control over food. What a great way to live! But you, 26 and 20 lbs in 1 month, that's outstanding! WTG

Default Well technically

I don't think the comma needs to be in there, but from a clarity standpoint it helps.

I lost 11 lbs the first month of LCing (stayed on Induction (or sort-of) for 4 weeks). Then it slowed down. I am now losing 2-3 lbs a month - - slow but at least I'm losing. I was stalled out for the entire month of September.
