Fat Fast and the Dr. Atkins book???
I was reading over the fast fast last night and I was surprised to read that he says (on page 240 of the New Diet Rev'n.), "That's why I call it the Fat Fast for the Fat Fast. It is not designed for those who want to lose fat fast. There. I said it, and I'm not sorry."
I was under the impression that the fat fast causes weight loss and breaks plateau and he makes it seem (if you keep reading) that this is kinda a way to prove that you don't need carbs for energy? I'm not going to do this fast or anything, I was just curious b/c I've read that some have success with it and others don't (weightloss wise) and I wondering if that's what it's intended for?
Sorry this may be a dumb question, but it's been bothering me.
Thanks,
Erin
