I have been taking my measurements since day one, and I am getting very concerned about something.

My abdomen (between the belly button and unmentionables) has not shrunk even one inch! It has stayed consistently at 44.5 inches. Accordng to MyBodyComp it is WAY out of proportion to the rest of me. I've shrunk everywhere else by 2-4 inches! What is up with that? Should I be concerned about this? I've heard that a swollen abdomen can indicate female trouble.

I just can't imagine that I have lost twenty pounds and there would be no change in the size of my belly. Has anybody else experienced this?

Please help somebody, I need some advice.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially since there's not much you can do to spot reduce. I have the same problem in certain areas too. My hips, stomach and facial fat is quickly shrinking but my upper arms? My back? My calves? Pffft! Not a chance!

The consensus is that the newest fat comes off first; where as the older fat puts up a major fight. Only time (or lipo!) will slim down your trouble areas it seems.

The abdomen for me is the last place I started to lose weight and most noticibly after 35 lbs of loss. Exercise...Exercise...exercise....is the only thing helping me lose the fat in that area BUT I had 2 kids, there are stretch marks and skin that will never be "flat" .... I am ok with this (for now anyway). So I would suggest doing some sort of abdominal exercises along with the LC WOE. Good luck
