I mix a heaping Tbls (probably about 15-20 g) of gelatin into my first cup of morning tea. It changes the taste a slight bit but I’m used to it now and no longer notice. It would, I imagine, be even less noticeable with coffee. I put a couple of Tbls of cold water in my mug, add the gelatine, wait for it to dissolve, and pour in the tea. (I use a big mug; I like strong, hot tea in the morning, & prefer to not have to refill a bitty mug too often, so it is quite diluted).
