Default My Journey to Fitdom

Ok so I've been walking for a year now and it's time to move on and up to something more. I need to get this old body in better shape and tone and possibly lose some more weight along the way.
Jouned the women only gym today...it was nice...just me and one other woman.

Started out walking on the treadmill for 10 minutes o warm up.
Went on to the reclineing stationary bike for 10 minutes at level 7.
On to UBWO
3 sets of 6 reps to start out. Will increase as I go on.
LBWO
Same as UPWO
Ended with weight ball doing crunches. WOW...did that make an impression!
My arms are somewhat sore but I feel great about working out.
Still plan to walk daily, 2-3 miles as I feel. The park is just to pretty to give up.

I've been working out at the gym all week now and increased my reps dramaticly.
My arms are the sorest but not unbearable. I added free weights for UBWO and I think that's what has made my arms so sore. I laid back off the leg lifts due to my right knee hurting me so much. I've got more going on with that knee than losing weight is going to cure. It crunches awful and hurts.
I love the ball for ab crunches, you can sure feel it working.
Didn't get to walk yesterday due to the rain but I did the treadmill at the gym for 15 mins. at level 6.
Will go to the gym today and walk tonight.

Third week at the gym and feeling really good about my workouts. I keep upping my reps so I feel like I'm accomplishing something. Still walking also. Last night during my walk I felt different...like I was lighter or something. I've never felt it before.
When I got on the scales this morning WHOOSH...down 2.5 pounds!!!
Even though I've been doing this woe for a year I have never experienced whoosh! It feels great. Now off with the other 36.5 pounds!
Also got my free massage this afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW...I have not felt this good in a long time. Very relaxed and calm.
Gonna have to see how I can fit a monthly massage into the budget each month.
