I was shocked to see Mike Rowe interviewing a proponent of keto and carnivore.

Is Mike another stepping stone to making carnivore mainstream?

Mike Rowe, like Joe Rogan, goes where the money/popularity/fad is. But people should understand carnivore, and many of them are also becoming oxalate aware, too.

This two strategies were a massive boon to my health, and I can't be the only one. Problem is, these pitchmen types are all about the fads. Reaching more people means dumbing it down, and both of them are kind of like that, anyway.

Perhaps this is how it is done.

So true. But Vinnie Tortorich has never changed his original diet. It is still NS, NG No Sugar, No Grains...a plan to support recovery from cancer. It is not Keto, Carnivore, not even Low Carb. As explained: "From NSNGŪ, you can branch off into Low Carb, Paleo, Keto, LCHF (low carb high fat), IF (Intermittent Fasting), Dairy Free, AIP (autoimmune protocol), Whole30, FODMAPS, KetoCarnivore, or full-on Carnivore, depending on what way of eating works best for your body."
Keto and Carnivore will never be mainstream. As soon as the book was released, The Carnivore MD added fruit, vegetables, honey...might as well add a hot fudge sundae. Just meat and water wasn't going to get him enough clicks to make a living.
