Hi Dan. When I add gelatin powder, I do it with hot liquids, usually soup, gravy or something saucy like pulled pork or a curry. You can just dissolve it into a bit of the sauce, then combine.
I'll also add it to sugar-free Jell-o. That makes it more solid, like jigglers, but it's fine. A lot of people make their own SF jelly with plain gelatin and flavour powders and sweeteners of choice.
Another idea is a hot smoothie - I think WereBear started a thread on this, but I can't find it (at a glance.) I have a chocolate protein powder mix that's actually chicken broth protein, and they suggest having it like hot cocoa. I've tried it a few times, it's pretty nice. I could easily dissolve gelatin into it (though being broth protein, it already contains a good bit.)
