French Creamed Eggs
I stumbled across this youtube video this morning & decided to give it a go. And wow! Is it ever good! It's more of a cheese sauce than an obvious egg dish, so it could be used for a lot of things. I think it would go great over asparagus, cauliflower, or broccoli.
I didn't have any Gruyère cheese, so I subbed with what I had on hand - mozzarella and sharp white cheddar. I made chaffles with the mozzarella & added garlic powder. It didn't dawn on me until too late that I could have toasted the chaffles in garlic oil like he did with the toast points. So next time.
This recipe is a keeper. You can't go wrong with eggs, cheese, cream, & garlic.
