Default Smurfy Workout log

Well, I know this journal is going to start sounding boring because it seems that I only do the same thing everyday but hopefully I will find a way to start doing a bit of weight training. Question is, how can I keep myself from getting larger thighs. I remember when I was in the Corps that I came in wearing jeans and when I was finished, I couldn't get them on. I had the legs of Mary Lou Retten. Anyone have any suggestions?

30 minutes or 460 calories burned, whichever comes first, elliptical trainer in the morning

30 minutes elliptical trainer at night

I am feeling really tired too... Not sure if I am getting sick or because I am doing to much.... What do you think?

The reason that I want to start at the gym is because I really miss the muscle form that I used to have in my upper body when I was younger and this belly that everyone thinks is a baby was NEVER there before....

There is the first entry....

Default Day 10 Workout

I have decided that been working out too much cardio and am going to start the BFL. I wonder why it is that you have to eat 6x per day... Guess I need a bit more info before i start though I have downloaded the forms that I am going to need. I didn't do 30 minutes last night because I was really not feeling good. I did it this morning and was never below 11 so that is great for me. I will not work out tonight either. I am going to splurge and have coffee until Sunday. I think that will be the first day that I start in at the gym. I think that I can do it!

Default Day 13....

Well, after talking with "Anybody," he convinced me to workout on Friday....

If you are reading this .....20 minutes! on the eliptical trainer..

Saturday, I went and sang Kareoke (destroyed my voice) and did some dancing...

Sunday, I did the upper body workout from BFL. I have a few questions on this but I will keep working until I feel that I am ready to ask.

Today I did 20 minutes on the eliptical trainer between 11.6-12.6 kph I think that I did OK...it is the moving that counts right??

Default Day 14

Today I made my husband get up and take me to the gym. (actually he didn't want me to drive as we had to fight the freezing rain that fell overnight and made the streets like glass)

12x10x8x6x24 I don't remember the weight...
I did the leg curl
then the leg extension
then the one where you push with your legs up??
then did for the calves on the same machine
then I did the hip flexor
then I did the ab machine

Of COURSE I had to sit in the sauna for 15 minutes.

Default Day 15 (Title is a bit repetitive???)

I did my 20 minute work out on the eliptical trainer...

sweating bullets..

I didn't have much energy to do it today but I pushed myself anyway. Being tired is just and excuse to slack off.... NO SLACKING!

I went for 3.87 km so not so bad but I want to try to get up to 4

My speed was between 11.4-12.2 not a very good day but at least I got up...

I really need to stop being so hard on myself... I am sick...but then again, it is ONLY 20 minutes..
