Talking Great story!

Hi Lucy

Great story really! As it is so much more than about losing the weight. What I read is a whole new way of looking at yourself and food. I think a lot of us folks that struggle with weight will benefit from reading your story. I know I did

You sound so at peace with your self and your body.

Good for you And losing 40 lbs is a awe some acomplishment...don't diminish it...
Yeah for Lucy!!!
Hugs,
Nancy

WTG LUCY!!!
I've enjoyed the journey with you and think you have become so much healthier mentally and physically. Your before and after show all the progress you've made and certainly don't look like you have a high bodyfat%.

Good Job!

Thanks for your nice words, Stella, Nancy, nets33, nawchem and bob! It was kind of you to take the trouble to comment. (And of course to read such a long story in the first place!)

Cheers

Lucy

The difference this time was that I stopped expecting to change into someone who likes exercise.

Wow - that's so true. That's what it takes to make it a permanant habit.

Yes indeed Lucy, thanks for the great story.

Been great following you all these months as well.

And Kristine, you hit the nail on the head.... It's all about exercise. We are a sedentary bunch as we age.. there's no getting around the fact that we have to exercise in order to keep our weight down...

Nicely put, everyone.

Lucy, 40 pounds is 40 pounds! Wow! You have a great story - thanks for sharing it. I've been struggling with the water issue, and you gave me the little push I needed to drink up!

Lucy,

I don't want to sound like a stalker, but wow, you look fantastic. Your story is exactly what I needed today, to keep me going. Not to mention the insight for what I needed once I make my goal. I've battled with the mental aspect of loosing weight for a few months, then yesterday after reading some of the posts, which I believe yours was one. I finally got it. You have really mastered the concept.

I applaud your work, and will keep you in mind along the journey to remind myself how good it will be to be on the other side of the fence and providing the inspiration, like you have provided to the rest of us.
