Aince going on Atkins...I have gone from eating no green veggies to eating twice the USDA recomended intake of veggies. My fat intake has soared from < 10% to 75% of my Diet. Carbs have dropped from > 75% to < 10% of my Diet. Protein has soared from < 10% to about 20% of my Diet.

Average Day (1999-2001)

Breakfast (McDonalds):

3 Cheese Biscuits
3 Hash Browns
2 Cans of Pepsi

Lunch (Home):

8 oz. Enriched Spaghetti
6 Slices of White Bread
2 Cans of Pepsi

Dinner (Home):

8 oz. Enriched Spaghetti
6 Slices of White Bread
2 Cans of Pepsi

Snack (7-11):

1/3 lb. Big Bite
44 oz. Coke Slushee

Statistics:
5104 Calories
Fat: 72g Fat
979g Carbs
21g Fiber
109g Protein
13% Fat/78% Carbs/9% Protein

No Ramen Days (2001-2002)

Breakfast (Home)

6 Slices of White Bread
2 Cans of Pepsi

Lunch (Home):

8 oz. Enriched Spaghetti
2 Cans of Pepsi

Dinner (Home):

9 oz. Jello
15 Giant Marshmallows

When I ate Ramen, my carb intake would go up over 1,000g/day because I'd also eat an additional 6 large slices of white bread, which I would dunk in the Ramen. But, even with the Ramen...my fat intake didn't exceed 10% of my Diet. One day a week, I'd go out to eat...at which time my carb intake would exceed 1,200g/day due to the addition of Potatoes and Ice Cream.
