Hi

As I understand it your stats on food eaten should be Fat 60-70%, Carbs 3-5% and Protein 25-30%. The fat is what curbs all of your cravings and leaves you feeling full. When ingesting fat while following a low carb diet fat takes a different metabolic path than when you are eating lots of carbs. Fat is burned by the body as fuel in place of carbs. Ketosis plays into this fat burning process as spent fuel, i.e., Fat.

This process is what makes you lose weight. Hard to believe but it is the truth. I have lost 24 pounds since January eating all that fat. Feel free to visit my journal or look at my Fitday.com account to see the foods that I have been eating.
