Hey Kaela!
As long as you're not lifting huge amounts of weight you shouldn't bulk. The best thing for toning is lighter weights and up your reps a little. You might have a temporary size increase due to your muscles storing water. it's a REALLY temp thing though.
I hate lunges too (And squats :lol)
