You remind me of my pal at University, who said she wanted food that was cheap, tasty, wholesome and slimming ...realised that was a hard call and concentrated on the first two, so she ate fried bread!

My first response is that you should slow down.It cannot be good for a person to be so busy. At least allow 10 minutes peace in your life every day.

2ndly. Vegetables are usually cheap. They are made tasty by adding butter and cheese and cheap cuts of meat. ( and chilli and other herbs and spices)

3rdly when I have been poor and busy, I have found tinned tuna a godsend (scrambled with eggs. fried up with onions, mashed up with mayo..) and also eggs generally. Hard boil up a few and have them in the fridge ready.

4thy however busy/poor you are, please remember that feeding yourself is important. Otherwise you might end up on the fried bread diet..!!!
