You guys are a scream

I agree, fresh is best, frozen next best and canned is a last resort. But I have to say there are circumstances where canned is the better choice .. for example, tomatoes. Where I live, fresh tomatoes in winter are .. blecchhhh! The pale, tasteless, pulpy "things" that grocers try to sell for exhorbitant prices just aren't worth my time or money. Possibly cherry tomatoes, but they're not suitable for cooking. And yes, I'm way past Induction

Other folks may have have storage problems such as limited fridge and freezer space. Or, fresh vegetables simply aren't available where they live.
