Here in Dallas we have a Farmer's Market downtown - the stalls have to be labelled as whether the seller is an actual farmer or a wholesaler.

I've also found the veggies at Whole Foods to be fresher and better tasting.

Of course, nothing beats growing your own - exercise and the freshest tasting produce possible.
