Do you use the fitday website? It is a great tool in helping you plan your menus, check your carbs. You can also post your menus here so some of the eagle-eyed old timer lcer's can see what might be standing in your way.
Measure yourself! You might be trading fat for muscle so you will weigh the same but you'll be getting smaller (make sense?).
