Another Dr Colin Champ newsletter this morning. More comments on the reality of obesity in our everyday life…and the impact of obesity on Cancer Risk.

Quote:
In a study of 26 894 participants diagnosed with cancer, 33.2% experienced obesity-related were second primary cancers, with a 15% increased risk of any second primary cancer for overweight individuals, and a 34% increased risk for obese individuals. In regards to obesity-related second primary cancers, this included a 40% increased risk for overweight individuals and a whopping 78% increased risk for those with obesity. If you don’t have cancer or had cancer, the moral of the story is to live a lifestyle that maximizes your body composition.
