very dry white and red wines lower the gi of the meals. my first time around, i drank a few glasses each night and lost wonderfully. now my second time around, i am not drinking at all, or at least trying to! it does make me more hungry now, plus leads me to extra snacking. this effect seems to last the next day as well. so sad, i love wine!!
