I used to swim all the time when I was younger, but work, etc got in my way and then I gained all the weight and was not brave enough to join a class. Now I live in the country but we do have a pool. I have a really bad knee on one leg, and I am not comfortable doing anything but a straight kick.......no more frog kick with a breast stroke.,,,,,it kills my knee. I have started just treading water for a period of time and moving my arms and legs with straight kicks. It tires me out and hopefully it is doing some good. Swimming laps is a bit hard in the small pool, but I figure if I keep moving I will doing some good.
