I can't speak for Amy obviously but here's my take on it (one who has been adding 1 oz fat [butter/coconut oil] to my morning coffee for 6 months) - If you like to add some fat, add it. I don't think it's particularly beneficial to add a lot nor do I think it's particularly harmful to add a lot. I know that when I eat mostly fat I'm not hungry very often during the day. That's a benefit if you're looking to drop weight
Also, the same Amy wrote another article that's kind of funny that's refered to a lot here, Janet or JEY100 does anyone and I like it and her
